Looking for something fun to kick off your youth group year?  Trying to find a way to help your youth connect with each other and create an effective team?  Bring them to Holmes for our annual Youth Group Teambuilding Retreat!


During this retreat, your youth group will participate in a number of teambuilding initiatives and low ropes activities, aimed at bringing them together as a closer team.  Together, the youth groups attending will join in worship.


Youth groups must come with at least 1 chaperone for every 8 youth, preferably with at least 2 chaperones.  Holmes will provide staff to lead activities, but not for overnight supervision of youth.  Youth groups must register together – if your church is interested, please contact Natasha Taylor  or the camp office.

Most of the program will be done outdoors (unless weather does not permit), so pack accordingly.  Layers are always appropriate – it is often cooler here at camp than home!


When: Friday September 22 – Saturday September 23, 2017

Cost: $75/person (youth or adult)  A deposit of $25/person is needed by September 8, 2017 to reserve your spot.  Any registration forms received after that may not be able to participate.  All forms and payment are due September 15, 2016.

Registration is at 7:00 pm (dinner is not provided), and the retreat ends with worship at 4:00 pm on Saturday.

Youth groups must register together, sending forms and payment together. Registration forms can be found here; each participant (youth or adult) must turn in a completed registration form.  All forms and payments are due September 15, 2017.

Participants will stay in Nunemaker and eat meals at Agape.  Linens are not provided, so please pack pillows, sleeping bags and/or sheets and blankets. Make sure to also pack towels, toiletries, clothes, closed toe shoes, and Bible.  If you have any questions about accommodations or what to pack, please contact Natasha Taylor  or the camp office.
