You will see three price list for most summer camp programs. Holmes’ new voluntary tiered pricing structure is intended to help families recognize how much a week at camp really costs and select the level of payment most appropriate for their circumstances If tier one is still prohibitive, we have a scholarship program you may apply to before May 15, 2019, please see our website or call us at 845-878-6383 for details.
Tier 1 is Holmes’ historic program rate and does not reflect the full per-camper cost associated with providing a summer program.
Tier 2 is our partially subsidized rate, for those who can pay a little more but may not be able to afford the actual cost of camp.
Tier 3 is our rate that more closely reflects the actual cost of having camp on our own site.
Online Registration: go to www.holmescamp.org and click on the Summer Camp tab on the top of the page. Call us at 845-878-6383 with online registration questions or for alternative registration methods.
Payment: To reserve your space, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required for each session. The balance of the fee is due two weeks proper to your session. You may pay online, mail a check or pay by credit card.
Early Bird Discount (for summer camp programs): Pay the full registration fee before MARCH 31, 2020 to receive 10% off your registration fee. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT EXTENDED TO APRIL 15!
Refer a Friend (for Summer Camp): When you recruit a friend to attend Holmes who has never attended before, both campers are eligible for a $20 credit. The camp credit will be applied when both the returning and new camper have paid in full. Details in the registration process.
Scholarships. Holmes is able to offer limited financial assistance. Applications and more information are available online at www.HolmesCamp.org. Applications are due by MAY 15, 2020.
Cancellations: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the start of the camp session you will be refunded payment minus the $100 deposit. You may transfer your payments to a different camp session for a $25 fee. No refunds are granted for cancellations made within two weeks of the beginning of the camp session. If a camper is sent home sick, or for behavioral issues, your fee will not be refunded.
Upon Registering: You will be sent a welcome packet with information on what to bring and how to complete our online health history form. In addition, Holmes requires a form completed by a physician. Please scan these completed forms and submit them online, or mail them to camp at least two weeks prior to your session. Please keep a copy of this form for yourself.
